After several years with locs, I've had my fro back for 2 years now. I've established a simple routine without relying on too many products. In this video, I share 6 key tips that helped me maximize my kinky hair growth.

1 - Hydration, Hydration, Hydration....

Your hair should not remain dry for too long, at the risk of brittle hair, split ends, and knots.

2 - Trim damaged ends

To achieve length, focus on the health of your hair!

3 - A regular routine!

The secret is consistency!

Adapt your routine to your lifestyle and specific hair concerns!

A deep treatment once a week or every 2 weeks, it's up to you!

If your hair is very damaged, you should opt for 1 treatment per week, for example!

If your hair is healthy, an oil bath is not necessary every time.

4 - Detangling!

Never detangle your hair dry! Wet them!

Brush your hair gently at the risk of massive breakage!

If they are very fragile, prefer finger detangling!

5 - A nighttime routine!

Never sleep with your hair down! Style them!

Use a bonnet or a satin pillowcase to prevent your hair from dehydrating, as well as from tangling and breaking!

6 - PATIENCE!

There are no miracle methods for growing hair, believe me, we'd know! Coily hair grows regardless of your origin!
